Situated in Lewisham, DIG is a space that prides itself on collaboration and experimentation. It doesn’t close it’s doors on any creative outputs. From exhibitions, performances, lectures and screenings to rehearsal rooms to club nights, DIG wants to be involved in all modes of cultural dialogue. The organisers are using a reclaimed building and have bought it back from disrepair. They’re working towards a completely self-sustainable unit for creation that is only made possible through the donations of effort and support from the artists who use the space. They see themselves as “a step away from the conventionality offered by the current creative industries.” Every Monday they hold a life drawing session and every Tuesday there’s a film screening.
