Celebrate 100 years of RAL with the anniversary edition of RAL K5 semi-matt! The Dutch design agency Raw Color has created an exclusive special edition to mark the anniversary of RAL. Each selected colour of the design represents a historical application of RAL CLASSIC – the colour collection that started the story of RAL colours. Raw Color explored the history of RAL CLASSIC, clustering colours by themes like transport, communication, and safety – resulting in a design that blends function with aesthetics.
The RAL K5 Colour fan contains all 216 standardised shades of the proven RAL CLASSIC colour collection. The full-surface colour representation in RAL K5 ensures an optimal impression of the colour effect.
The colour fan is a practical tool for users in colour design, design, architecture and crafts. If you want to sample, combine or compare colours, you should take a look online.

Do something good with every purchase
By purchasing a RAL K5 semi-matt colour fan, you are supporting a good cause – for each unit sold by 31.12.2025 via the RAL COLOURS online shop, we donate €1 to socialbee. The organisation supports people with a refugee or migrant background in their integration into the German labour market. Together, we are making the world of work as colourful and diverse as the RAL colours!
Proven colour selection in the RAL K5 CLASSIC colour fan semi-matt
The 216 colours in the RAL CLASSIC colour collection are sorted into nine colour ranges in the RAL K5 Colour fan. In addition to solid colours, RAL K5 also contains safety and signal colours as well as metallic shades. The colour fan deck shows the colour on the front with a semi-matt gloss level. On the back, each shade is given a unique four-digit RAL code – as well as an associative colour name in eight languages. This allows a colour to be clearly communicated across the globe and between different parties.
