Check out these beautiful handcrafted and handprinted textile designs by Kangan Arora. Having taken visual inspiration from her North Indian heritage, in particular the street culture and from observing the vibrancy that overwhelms during every day life, Kangan creates contemporary designs allowing a sense of abstracted street chaos to spill into the home environment. These cushions have been produced through a combination of screen print, stitching and traditional hand embroidery.

“I like visuals more than words. My work is about color, print and pattern… and a bit more color for good measure.”

Kangan who graduated from Central Saint Martins and the National Institute of Fashion also works collaboratively with Jonna Saarinen at their London based print studio Jonna X Kangan.
