The way we look at photography is now being challenged by this Dutch duo, Berend Otto and Guus Kaandorp. They raise questions about ourselves and the way we see things. Their work which is based on photographic equipments is an example of aesthetic solutions to practical problems. The belief in creating new functions for the material leads them to surprising combinations and distinctive series of images. Their recent projects are now being showcased in the exhibition ‘Works’ by Foam in the heart of Amsterdam until early September.
