Print Isn’t Dead™ Element 004

People of Print are thrilled to announce that our Print Isn’t Dead magazine Element 004 has hit the shelves and as always the magazine is jammed packed with visual delights, talented printmakers and the very best designers, artists and events from around the world.

Element 004 is an 84 page independent magazine extravaganza focusing on letterpress, typography, illustration, events and conferences whilst featuring the likes of the infamous Anthony Burrill, Alan Kitching, David Wolske, Roderick Mills, Marion Deuchars, Protein, Letterform Live, 99U and Live Surface to name just a few gracing the pages of this issue.

Also, this time Element 004 is going out with Stack who hand select the best quality independent magazines and deliver them directly to your door, which means for this issue we have been able to increase our print run.

The magazine comes wrapped in a full colour cover design by multi-award winning English graphic designer Jon Bland which will certainly brighten your day and is available in two colour ways. Jon, who has previously worked for clients including Nike, Louis Vuitton, London Fashion Week, Philippe Starck and Universal Music has recently been snapped up by the world renowned Apple and relocated to San Francisco, so you’ll certainly be seeing a lot more of his work very soon.

We are also very grateful to have the ingenious designer James Lunn on board with us again, he has taken control of the design and art direction ensuring that it is as experimental and memorable as before. James Lunn is also the celebrated focal point of our typography special Posterzine, Issue 06, which features an in depth interview with Lunn and an original poster design printed in black and gold ink.

We have used Stratos typeface by the awesome Production Type throughout Element 004 and our latest issue has been printed by Pressision ltd, based in Leeds, using Offset Litho (CMYK) and special fluorescent spot colour, Pantone 802U.
