London-based freelance illustrator Dan Woodger, with a degree from University of Brighton, has established a worldwide reputation since he was commissioned to design over 1000 emojis for a mobile messaging application called Line.

The use of different urban landscapes as the background of wandering characters in happy faces is one of the most conspicuous elements of Dan Woodger’s work. And this results in a vast collection of jaw-dropping editorial illustrations that has graced the front pages of international magazines and newspapers including The New York Times, Washington Post, Anorak and many, many others. Also, rumour has it that he has been designing a whole range of IOS apps – we just cannot wait to hear more about it Dan!
