Currently based in Berlin, Louis’ photographic work observes architecture, objects, geometry pattern and form highlighting ‘the strangeness and plasticity of isolated motifs drawn from everyday scenes.’ Portfolio highlights include his ‘Ordinary backdrops’ project shot in Japan documenting unusual views of the suburban scenario, and also his ‘Means or Transport’ photographic observations capturing close ups and a sense of abstraction through the interplay of lines and planes found in ordinary circumstances.
