Posterzine Issue 68 | Harriet Richardson

posted by Robyn Pitts May 17, 2021

Our latest issue of Posterzine – the A4 zine that folds out into an A1 poster- showcases the work of Harriet Richardson. Contrasting typical calls for change from the creative industry, Harriet chooses wit over worthiness, serving her message with a wink. With a strong belief that you can be the change you want to see, she demonstrates this perfectly through the power of print!

Currently a designer at Pentagram in London, Harriet creates politically charged posters with profits raised donated to charity. Rather than trivialising a serious message, Harriet’s humour adds to its impact. Take her “Life’s Too Shor-” print for example, which has raised more than £1,000 for Cancer Research UK and was inspired by her mother’s own battle with the disease.

Inside this issue, Harriet discusses the placard that made her go viral, finding her voice, and whether her artwork will win her a cushty afterlife…

Issue 68 was printed by Pressision Ltd using CMYK onto quality G.F Smith paper, and kindly supported by FRMD.
