This month we’re proud to present a selection of awesome stickers created by members of our community. From reinterpretations of linocut prints, to motivational messages of empowerment, check out the low down below and cover your street, laptop, or home in these incredible small pieces of art.
Spiegelsaal: Gig Poster Stickers Spiegelsaal recently re-imagined some of their most popular images originally created for gig posters as custom shaped vinyl stickers. The designs include The “face melted queen” from their 2018 Sleaford Mods poster, the “Ace of Hearts” from the 2019 Blood Red Shoes tour poster, and the “Monkey Chow Mein” from the 2017 Cherubs European tour poster.
Filippos Fragkogiannis: RIMOWA Graduation 2020 Sticker Filippos Fragkogiannis was commissioned by RIMOWA to design a piece for their luggage sticker collection. The theme was the graduation of the class of 2020, a transitional year on a worldwide level. Although the product did not hit the market, Filippos found the experience of working for such a well-rounded team was fascinating. The font in use is Dinamo’s Whyte Inktrap, while the two globes are glyphs from W Type Foundry’s Friends. Finally, he placed the “of” catchword glyph from Adobe Wood Type Ornaments in the centre, with minor adjustments.
Melissa Donne: Floral Stickers Melissa Donne’s new sticker collection is inspired by her love of colour and nature. The featured designs consist of pretty pastel florals and plants in patterned pots, all with an abstract and contemporary take on traditional botanical illustration. Designed digitally, they were produced in collaboration with printing company Sticker Mule. Melissa’s stickers contribute a vibrant and playful addition to a number of items, be that to decorate laptops, water bottles or notebooks. They are a fun way to display her art in a different context.
Alexandra Motiu: Away With the Circus and They Are Dreaming Sticker Collections Alexandra Motiu has recently released a collection of stickers based on her two most popular collections of prints; Away With the Circus and They Are Dreaming. Away With the Circus is a series of prints based on circus performers, and They Are Dreaming is a collection in which different characters show their dreams of power, money, or love in large collage-like prints. Alexandra’s stickers are also waterproof, so you can stick them wherever you please.
Lightship Print Shop: NHS StickersLightship Print Shop created this illustration in the early days of the pandemic in the U.K. Back in March 2020 it was an uncertain time and the team at Lightship wanted to do something using their illustrations that might help. They created this illustration full of details and joy to encourage people to stay at home. The team had them made into stickers and then gave them away for free through Instagram to anyone who wanted one.
Emily May: Decadent Stickers Stickers are one of Emily May’s favourite items to create because they present a unique challenge; how to pack the most information into a space under three inches. Her stickers are fun and irreverent; bright little pops of colour that contain an unexpected message.
Christy Powell: Linocut Print Stickers With the popularity of stickers ever growing, Christy Powell created a series of stickers made from her original linocut prints, which she is selling via her online shop. However, more often, she gifts them with print purchases as a gratuity token. The designs include her prints Blue Willow, Floating Boats & Dragons, and Our Great African Seaforest.
Elise Florence Designs: Gothic Tarot Stickers Elise Florence Design’s sticker range includes a selection of re-imagined Gothic tarot designs, printed onto waterproof vinyl stickers at 2.3 x 2.99 inches. She has also produced rectangular, black, glossy holographic stickers in sun and moon designs, as well as a Lovers Valentines Edition.
Angel Design Studio Co: Typographic Stickers Ella Rankin of Angel Design Studio wanted a way to make her designs more accessible and portable, thus decided to create a range of die cut stickers. They act as small but powerful reminders for any space, encouraging motivation. The stickers are perfect for your laptop, phone case, water bottle, or mirror, as a little pick me up.
Jordan Gadeke: Positive Stickers Through his stickers, Jordan Gadeke hopes to spread positivity as well as offering a form of self-expression. His stickers are affordable and can be changed as you yourself change, thus showing off a part of your identity that you’re proud of without taking up a lot of space or using a lot of materials.
