It’s degree show season and with that comes a wealth of work from the freshest and brightest graduates in the land. One of the most beautiful pieces of work is a new journal called Unknown Quantities.
Designed and edited by MA Culture, Criticism and Curation and MA Communication Design at Central Saint Martins, this art & design, cultural criticism & politics publication is a delight.
Unknown Quantities aims to be a critically-informed journal with a framework to support both written and visual content. Issue 01 focusses on urban regeneration and gentrification around London’s King’s Cross. It has a love of collaboration between art and science as it features commissioned essays, interviews, art, illustrations and archival material.
Issue 01 also work from Rob Kessler, ASNS, Siobhan Davies, Owen Lacey and Antonio de la Hera and five commissioned investigations into King’s Cross.
This publication is a joy and looks to have lots of very exciting things in the horizon for future issues.
