The Pattern Guild is a Peckham based design studio founded by Amber James and Fergus McDonnell, a pair of design obsessed, visual architects that formed a lifelong friendship with the grid. The Pattern Guild began in 2013 when Amber and Fergus decided to join forces and create a new brand together.
As Amber has worked as a designer/maker and Fergus as a pattern designer they found they had many methods of working in common and skills that complimented each other. Coming from a graphic design background, they both share a passion for patterns and geometric design. Their range of unique repeated decorative designs are combined with expert craftsmanship to provide functional products with beautiful patterns.
