Element #003 | Karlssonwilker | The Artist Series Cover

Here comes the third design in the limited edition artist series cover of Element 003. It is such an amazing masterpiece created by an award-winning multidisciplinary design champions Hjalti Karlsson and Jan Wilker aka Karlssonwilker. We did a little interview where we got to know about their idea behind this ingenious cover and how they worked out this perfect visual treatment for our latest issue of Print Isn’t Dead™.

We are karlssonwilker, the New York-based design studio founded by Icelander Hjalti Karlsson and Jan Wilker from Germany. We have won more than one design award and our work has been published in less than one thousand national or international design publications. Have a great day.

How would you describe your creative practice in three words?
We Don’t Know

How did you come to the final design for the cover of Element 003?
A simple line was looking for a form for itself. Out of very many, two were chosen—one on the front, one on the back.
