It’s All Goods Co. are a Bournemouth-based screen printing studio, specialising in printing and embroidery on clothing. Founded by Nina and Charlotte “two of the south coast’s Merch Queens”, they work with a lot of small businesses, creating workwear, as well as supporting upcoming brands, and printing merchandise. With no minimum order quantity, orders from them range from two t-shirts, to three thousand hi vis vest. “Never a boring day around here,” say the pair. Keen to push creative boundaries with their clients, they love getting involved in the design process and letting themselves explore all types of fabric decoration, mixing styles, and media to achieve the most unique results possible.
When they have some quieter moments, the duo like to work on their own clothing, new designs, new methods of print, and special effect ink vinyl etc. “I love combining different methods like embroidery over a screen print, it just gives so much depth to the artwork and makes it so much more unique,” states Nina.
Both Nina and Charlotte have always been creative, and loved the creative subjects in school. Charlotte focused on photography and textiles, and has a good eye for all things aesthetic. Nina works a lot more on the art and product design side of things. She states; “I loved DT as a subject, the smell of wood and workshop atmosphere, getting covered in paint and pushing boundaries as to what I can use in my artwork.” Neither of them went on to do a degree, as they found a great opportunity to jump straight into working in the industry.
Their designs are inspired by a wide range of things, from another artist or clothing brand, to a cup of coffee or a random dream. Nina tells us; “I love talking to people, they inspire me to be more free thinking, as I tend to put myself in a box without being able to venture out. Other people’s projects always give me the inspiration and motivation to go and do something new myself.”
The studio is home to a vastex 2000 carousel and a Brother 6 needle embroidery machine. They also use a lot of Stanley/Stella and AS Colour blanks, as well as hundreds of other options too.
Still in their early days as a business, they are currently focusing on solidifying their practices and building their own creativity. They hope to one day get a new studio space which they can combine with other businesses, such as a coffee shop, and work on their own line of printed apparel too.
