Lightship Print Shop

Lightship Print Shop is an illustration and surface pattern studio based on board a historic lightship moored at Trinity Buoy Wharf in London.

Launched in the summer of 2019, they are still a relatively new studio, but have already been working on some exciting projects, ranging from detailed botanical illustrations for Crabtree & Evelyn, bright and colourful endangered species illustrations for the 2020 theme for The Big Draw festival, and giant large scale illustrated outdoor cubes to be installed at Roof East in London in the summer of 2020.Lightship Print Shop’s practice is heavily focused on illustrated conversational prints, as well as patterns for child-related products. They regularly exhibit in London, Paris and New York, showcasing their surface pattern designs, and have collaborated with brands such as Paperchase, American Eagle, Peter Alexander and The Children’s Place.

“We believe in the importance of experimentation, hand drawn line, Risograph colours and getting our fingers covered in ink” conclude the team.
