Lulu Bong founded Qualita Prints in 2012 together with her husband to offer a printing service her fellow designers could trust. Ever since, they have been supporting brands, designers and agencies realise their ideas through high quality printing and a seamless process. Their aim is to provide a simple yet satisfying printing experience for everyone by becoming a bridge between designers and printing experts.

With a background in graphic design, Lulu believes that the better one understands both the design and printing process, the better the print result. She began her journey into the commercial print world as a printing consultant, providing the bridge between her designer friends and printing companies. Not only did she suggest the best way to print any design, but she also turned the design into a final artwork in a print-ready file, quality controlled the process and delivered them to a variety of printing companies based on their printing speciality. Today, Qualita Prints accept any printing project, from the basic image to exclusive printing which requires more details and finishes to give an exquisite touch. Qualita Prints have gained knowledge and appreciation amongst the association of designers in Indonesia.

However, as Lulu heard more about issues arising from the printing of packaging she decided to become a bridge once again. This time not to connect designers to the correct printing facilities, but to educate all brands and designers to design great and sustainable packaging, reducing environmental impact and ecological footprint. Together with her team she shares educational content about sustainable packaging via her business’ social channels.

Qualita Prints’ vision is to be the next green printer in Indonesia. They have already began taking small steps by managing their paper waste and recycling it into brand new pieces. They also provide more environmentally friendly printing material such as FSC-certified papers and soya ink. Qualita Prints believe that good product deserves good packaging which is kind to the earth as well. Their ultimate aim is to create a better world by increasing environmental sustainability and become leaders on the market with their skill, creativity, design, and technology.
