London-based creative agency Human After All have launched an eight-issue publishing venture in partnership with D&AD with an aim to voice their opinions on global issues and demonstrate how these key issues are interrelated and affect peoples in all corners of the world. Covering subjects ranging from climate change, environment to conflict, each issue is an exploration into a single topic and is divided into three sections: Past, Present and Future – an ingenious way to raise awareness as well as to approach and inspire a wide range of audience and turn knowledge into action.
Their inaugural issue revolves around the Arctic problems and is for you to look closely into the Arctic locals and many others. Spread over this 116-page publication are delightful illustration and data visualisation with pastel colours throughout the issue to give it a soft feel and help evoke a sense of emotional connection. Their first issue is now up for grabs, and with commissioned multi-talented illustrators including Jean Jullien and Adrian Johnson, this publication definitely deserves a place on your shelf and is something you don’t want to miss.
