Dario Gracceva: Flatland- Chronicle of a Bidimensional Journey

Dario Gracceva is a Graphic Designer based in London, specialising in the fields of editorial, exhibition and corporate design. His project Flatland focuses on telling a narrative through visual language, inviting the reader to interact with two books that work together to provide a deeper understanding of the story. The first book contains the original text by Edwin A Abbott, in addition to extra information about itself through the appendix and links to the other book. The second takes the reader on an image fuelled adventure, presenting collected pictures and made up illustrations, interpreting the text into a visual response. The books combine and work hand in hand, aiming to add another dimension to literary digestion.
