Rare: Kingston BA Illustration & Animation

We visited the Rare show on a calm and quiet afternoon to fully embrace and admire the impressive array of talent on show in the spacious, well laid out exhibition from Kingston’s BA Illustration and Animation degree course.
Impressed on entry by the quality and quantity of publications on offer, this set the tone and standard for what was to follow. This exhibition covered all areas of illustration and design from delicate hand painted ink illustrations to interactive, thought provoking work stations and various print techniques.
These pieces featured are some of the stuff that really got us going, particularly memorable were the work of Danielle-Louise Watt, Luke Overin, Esther Robinson, Joe Mortimer, Josie Falconer and Kerry Coulson.
Congratulations to all on a very successful exhibition.
