Aelfie is a company with a love for all thing pattern and print. Stemmed from Aelfie Oudghiri’s love for experimental pattern and print design, she now creates and curates a beautifully designed and handmade range of textiles and homeware. Her designs are influenced by flatwoven tribal textiles and Soviet-era embroidery, which are handwoven in India using traditional weaving methods. But what makes her designs pop are the cheeky illustrations and modern patterns that now cover rugs to cushions.

Her considered artist collaborations in the ‘Artist Pillow’ range features some of our personal People of Print favourites, including Annu Kilpeläinen and Atelier Bingo. It’s great to see how their work perfectly translates onto textiles. The fabulous Aelfie studio is based in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, but if you can’t get there you can browse her textiles online and even get custom designs made to suit your specific personal requirements.
