Life & Type is the large format letterpress project of Daniel Richardson (FirstLastFirst) through which he prints uniquely customised‚ typographic monoprints for individual customers on a press he helped design and build.

Established in 2013‚ The 1984 is a Jakarta based creative consultant. They inject a personal touch‚ attention to craft and rawness to all their works. Craft and DIY spirit is an aesthetic that inspires them and they often start with traditional medium‚ followed by processing with both traditional and modern techniques topped with careful detail to typography and composition.

Central St Martins 2015 graduate currently based in Istanbul. With influences from psychedelia and pop Laris fuses fun shapes and colours with a carefree yet fresh aesthetic. She enjoys experimenting with analogue techniques for her process.

James Dawe
A passion for print is imperative in James’ process even if he mostly works digitally these days. “James Dawe is an artist and commercial illustrator/Image Maker based in London‚ working predominantly in mixed media collage and digital manipulation. His compositions have been described to have ‘beautiful glorious chaos’ to them which reflects an alternate eclectic energy in Dawe’s approach. Having successfully managed the crossover from his design portfolio into fine art‚ combining work for high-profile ad and media campaigns for the likes of Nike‚ GQ‚ Network Rail and Sky Sports‚ whilst building an expanding collector base for his gallery works.

Lottie is a London based artist and illustrator. In her digital illustrations there is a strong emphasis on the notion of ‘play’. Testing and exploring line‚ volume‚ colour‚ texture‚ illusions and shapes‚ which translate into vibrant and fun prints.

Spike Taylor Manson
Spike Taylor Manson is a graphic designer and printmaker who recently graduated from London College of Communication. His work investigates how the language of icons and graphic user interface systems revolutionised computers and graphic design. Spike is inspired by his research of icons and the processes involved in design and print from the 1980s.

Gwendoline Blosse
Graduate of AGR‚ l’École de l’Image in 2008‚ specialising in illustration‚ comics‚ and design graphique, Gwendoline lives and works in Nantes (France). Her clients include Pulsomatic‚ Stereolux Mag‚ Tohu Bohu‚ Salle Vasse Theater‚ Apache Magazine‚ Lieu Unique Bar‚ Bikini mag‚ and Pickles Magazine to name just a few.

The Book of Deer style ethos is rooted in the character and atmosphere of clothing. Evoking narratives in detailing and conjuring our daydreams in prints‚ they take a step away from sharp edges and trends to create fun‚ feminine pieces with a distinctive element of cute. Their prints are exclusive to the brand‚ hand drawn and digitally printed. Book of Deer designs for the quietly iconoclastic girl with an active imagination‚ spinning a tale into every garment and encouraging the wearer to keep her head in the clouds.

Departing from traditional ways of making art‚ Archibald is more at home in the digital environment‚ an accessible and flexible space that allows her to explore an expanding range of creative possibilities and outcomes. With these digital processes at hand‚ her ideas can be produced rapidly‚ multiplied infinitely‚ and disseminated instantly.

Marie Varley Screenprints
Marie Varley is an Irish artist working from a screenprinting studio in the heart of Dublin. Her vibrant prints are based on ephemera from the 1950’s. The Matchbox Series‚ her most recent series of work is influenced by a set of matchboxes depicting the identities of several airlines from across the world.

Typelark
Typelark is an ‘adventure with letters’‚ exploring the way in which typography can evoke emotions‚ memories and associations‚ how it gives texture to language‚ and uncovering hidden typographic treasures. Founded by Zoë Chan‚ typography is at the heart of all her work; Zoë creates letterpressed typographic prints‚ gifts and greetings cards‚ plus bespoke work including the design and printing of invitations and personalised prints.

Emily Godden & Audit Chaos
Emily Godden’s practice is currently focused around printmaking stretched into its broadest sense of existence to explore‚ document and translate both physically and naturally occurring traces through the medium of print. In recent work she has used sound as a mechanism to transmit data and communicate traces to exploit the essence of print in a post-digital landscape. Living in Ipswich Emily Godden is currently studying BA (Hons) Fine Art at UCS and has exhibited work at Tate Britain‚ Firstsite‚ The Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts and was recently shortlisted for the Batsford Prize for Fine Art.

Baines&Fricker
Eliza Fricker is one half of husband and wife design company Baines&Fricker who design and make furniture‚ wallpaper and interiors. Eliza Fricker screen prints and illustrates wallpapers for Baines&Fricker as well as working on various illustration projects. Eliza was taught to draw by her father who is an illustrator and political cartoonist. She is influenced by her upbringing in the suburbs and uses the mundane and overlooked in her work. She likes to draw buildings and faces‚ she often combines this with found imagery to create an idiosyncratic view of the world.
