Approached by CANADA stylist Carolina Galiana, Ferran Capo, the creative professional based in Barcelona who specialises in Graphic Design, Illustration, Lettering and Video, has implemented his original aesthetic into the designing of graphics and patterns for the euphoric costumes used within Tame Imapalas latest music video.
Titled The Less I Know The Better, Tame Impalas signature psychedelic rock style and heavy influences are confidently infused within Capos final designs, sourcing inspiration from a variety of 70s counter-culture pop artists, film influences and artistic inspiration. The vibrancy beautifully injected into Shane Turners Psychameleon paintings is exquisitely referenced through both the immersive abstract scenes and the vivid colour palette Capo details within his featured designs. Similarly, further inspirations stem from the works of Albert Kaufman, Mati Klarwein, Keiichi Tanaami, Heinz Edelmann, Tadanori Yokoo, Dudley Edwards and Martin Sharp. The combining of the iconic aesthetics of said influences has resulted in the rich and dynamic prints, which implement Capos careful consideration of colour as expressed throughout his body of work.

Ferran Capos final designs are worn by the likes of Trevor the gorilla, the cheerleaders and the basketball player. The music video experiments with transitioning from photographic to illustration, somewhat showcasing the designs in their initial forms and opting for a kaleidoscopic effect, again in reference to the 70s psychedelic influences infused through both audio and visual.
