Hello this is Kae for Stories Collective: Colour Extravaganza

Combining talents with Stories Collective, an online platform showcasing stories imagined by creatives all over the world, Hello this is Kae, has once again embedded her iconic aesthetic of mesmerising colour considerations within her latest collaboration.

Vivid hues, clean cut graphics and 2D forms all decorate the photographic editorial in which Kae was invited to illustrate. Titled ‘Colour Extravaganza’, the name itself sparked initial inspirations, resulting in the collage composition complimenting the nuanced aesthetic of the photographer, Shuhei Shine.

The minimal quality of the subtle shaping is strikingly contrasted by the vibrancy of colour injected. With crimson reds and cobalt blues infused, the choice of colour is used for both complimentary and contrasting value. Extracting the pale green of the Japanese architecture for one image and then placing vibrant yellows and purples next to each other, a stark juxtaposition is repeatedly evoked, highlighting the impact and originality ever seen within the work of Hello this is Kae.
