GO, the eco-conscious brand with an emphasis on contemporary print and natural fabrics exudes the playful chic comfort aesthetic by embedding its signature style into its array of modern classic cuts. The Russian brand majorly focuses on working in collaboration with contemporary creatives, creating pieces of wearable art, which are all organic, hand woven or recycled, reflecting the brands significant love and affinity with nature.
Titled Home, the most recent of collections embeds the narrative surrounding the very earth in which we inhabit, narrowing focus on the fact that we need to save it for future generations, thus injecting the brand DNA of sustainability and the importance of this within our contemporary society.
The collection includes five sweatshirts made from recycled RPET bottles and beautifully decorated with contrasting prints, all of which were plucked from a handmade collage celebrating five different topics; Earth, Fire, Water, Air and Love, detailing juxtaposing colour palettes and motifs as the narrative they exquisitely withhold unfolds.
GO was founded by Glagoleva Olya, an Art Director who has delved far into the creative industries, studying in Moscow, experimenting with fabrics and working with craftsmen in Indonesia and finally studying at CSM in London just prior to launching GO in 2014. Olya undeniably embeds the talent and wisdom she has acquired and thus results in the innovative authenticity, which radiates within her garments.
Below details the collage which informed all final designs.
