Living under the ideology of work hard, have fun, self-taught graphic designer and illustrator Lorena G specialises in attention to detail, embedding her love for geometry, vibrant colour and fine vectors into her impressive portfolio of illustrations, brand identity, lettering and design.
From working for clients such as Google and SapientNitro Canada to indulging in self-devised projects, Lorena G continuously exemplifies her instantly recognisable aesthetic, detailing clean two-dimensional design with crisp edges, open space, and vivid colour palettes which evoke a joyful energy, immersing viewers as we realise the immensity of detail carefully considered.
Staying true to her initial ideology, The Grand Budapest Hotel Flat was created as a fun and experimental tribute to Wes Andersons masterpiece. Transfixed by the compelling detail and delicious staging of the film, Lorena G beautifully captured the cinematic aesthetic and translated it into a series of twenty illustrations, evoking the passion embedded in both the film and her work ethic.
Further works include her rendition of 36 Days of Type, the project inviting illustrators, designers and graphic artists to express their unique aesthetic through the creation of a specialised alphabet and the project commissioned by Google, where Lorena G created a background series for their online store.
