London based creative design studio, Uncommon, have continued their thread of modern and provocative marketing in their latest campaign for ITV for which they have created beautiful new print work.
Their new, striking print-based project is a continuation on from their most recent campaign for ITV’s ‘Britain Get Talking’, which paused and cast a silence over Saturday night TV to provoke important conversations across the nation to improve mental wellbeing. ITV’s powerful mental wellness initiative puts social purpose at the heart of the channel, leveraging its ability to shape British culture.
Designed by Uncommon, the print designs play with negative space in a stripped back approach. The work takes inspiration from TV Guide magazines, and replicates the effect of ripped out listings. However, instead of the usual programme guide, the copy is far more significant highlighting moments of compassion from loved ones when talking to one another. Each print execution closes with the line ‘Tune back in to the story in your living room’.
The work will run across print outlets such as The Guardian, The Observer and The Sunday Times Culture Magazine.
