posted by POP Members August 23, 2022

Aunt Joy is a new online gallery founded by Amy Gardner, exhibiting a carefully curated collection of exciting contemporary art, by incredibly talented women. Aunt Joy was created to make buying art by women easier for art lovers everywhere. They pride themselves on making art accessible and approachable, helping buyers find that special piece that really resonates, or put together a thoughtfully curated gallery wall of inspiring art by women, for real homes and businesses.

The online gallery supports women-centred charities by always giving 10% of sales to a pool of women-centred charities. These charities include Sistah Space, Women’s Aid, Bloody Good Period, Refuge, Young Women’s Trust, and The Society for Women Artists.

The gallery’s founder, Amy Gardner, is a full time artist, keen art collector, and mum to two young creative girls. Through Aunt Joy she has combined her years of experience in major event production and the charity sector, with the focus that runs through her whole body of work: women supporting women, creating a community of incredible women artists.

“Aunt Joy is a cheerleader, she has your back, she celebrates your wins like they are her own. She has the loudest laugh at every private view and loves a pink martini. She’s strong, joyful, and most definitely sassy. She has a glorious ability to connect people… and is determined to make more space for women in art.”
