Recent Graphic Design graduate from Moholy-Nagy University, Lilla Vincze kindly let us have a sneak peak at her MA degree final project publication. Based on the contemporary Hungarian literary novel, From North a Hill, from South a Lake, from West Roads, from East a River by László Krasznahorkai, the book is beautifully finished with intricate and carefully considered graphic details.
With a firm interest in editorial design, pattern design, branding and illustration, the artist’s goal was to represent the possibilities and features of various solutions of form, material and visual elements and their impact on the content of the book, thereby creating a new kind of reading experience. Perhaps we love the most about this project is the smaller details such as the print finish and added intricacies such as gaps on the page that then interact with the following page spread. A stunning piece of print.
