Edizioni oltre il serraglio – exhibition

An exhibition itinerary that presents Federico Fusetti’s activity through the 5 years of the Federico Blu di Prussia project, revealing a varied imaginary populated by rubber stamps, linocuts, silkscreens and digital prints.
Alongside the free graphics, there are numerous collaborations and contaminations that the numerous meetings and shared projects have brought new contributions to the project.
An added value is represented by the posters created at Matteo Totaro’s private press Officina del giorno dopo in Monte Sant’Angelo, as well as the various editions of Herbarium – Quaderni di Botanica designed for Ramatostudio together with the illustrator Serena Mabilia.
You can see numerous plaquettes and limited editions developed with the Thípigraphia collective in Urbino, with Tipi Strani in Schio, Nel dubbio moldo – personal research by Paolo Celotto in Treviso – up to the artist’s book LEGGÈRE LETTERE by Stamperia Ripa 69 in Rome, edited by Susanna Doccioli. This path also includes the publication MicorriZine – Visual notes of mutualistic symbiosis conceived by FranZine Milano and printed by Press Press in screen printing and risograph in 2023.
Not a thematic universe or governed by a single technique, rather an initiatory path aimed at exalting the value of collaboration, as well represented by the episode of the podcast Via della Stamperia conducted by Marinella Caslini in art Disgrafica. The title itself “I like to collaborate, not compete” – a verse stolen from Por Osmar, a poem by A. Jodorowky.
For this meaning of the concept of making graphics, the exhibition becomes an opening to meetings, contaminations, initial training and themes developed through dialogues during a research path that intertwines numerous places and personalities of the world of contemporary graphics.
