Astro Black Collective is made up of artists and sound designers Amy Rhian, Victoria Topping, JoMo, Emily Evans, ADJOWA and Clge. Their launch exhibition at The Printhouse Gallery in Dalston explores themes of the underworld, black magic and multidimensional forces. An interest in interplanetary geometry and galactic funk emanates through the work on show which includes digital & riso prints, collage pieces and an installation of paper geodesic planets. If this exhibition is anything to go by then you need to keep a close eye on what these celestial travellers come up with next!!
Astro Black Collectives exhibition has been extended until Friday 18th July 2014!
Anyone walking down Ashwin St in Dalston entranced by the golden metallic exhibition label outside The Printhouse Gallery would have entered into an explosion of colour, pattern, shape and all things celestial jazz that have covered the walls of the gallery for the past month. This is an unmissable exhibition so make sure to catch it while you can folks!
