Picasso Suites

The upcoming exhibition at Eames Art Gallery, entitled ‘Picasso Suites’, presents Picasso’s most important and sought-after suites including engravings from ‘Carmen’ (1949), lithographs from ‘La Come?die Humaine’ (1954), and etchings from ‘La Ce?lestine’ (1968). This fine selection of Picasso’s works were originally created to accompany the prose and/or poetry of a favourite book often written by one of his peers. This show is truly a celebration of the artist’s most famous and iconic etchings, engravings, and lithographs and it’s a good opportunity for you to take a close-up look at the original prints which were rarely signed individually and were made in slightly larger editions than usual.
