Italian printmaker and pop member, Enea Seregni, began his journey into the world of printmaking back in 2017.
What started as a dive into linocut technique quickly turned into a personal and artistic research, particularly inspired by his deep love for cult horror, fantasy, and science fiction movies.
From the very beginning, his work has reflected a genuine passion for cinema, with prints paying homage to some of his all-time favorite movies – titles that have terrified, and fascinated generations of film lovers.
Over the years, Enea’s artistic style has evolved and matured. His body of work has grown richer and more diverse, branching out into new themes and approaches. Yet, he has always remained deeply connected to his early linocuts.
These early pieces continue to resonate with movie buffs and art enthusiasts, maintaining a loyal following.
It was from this lasting affection for his earlier work that the idea for a new project was born: Lino CULT Movies, the first of a series of themed zines dedicated to his linocut prints.
Blending fanzine and artbook together, this unique publication gathers all of Enea’s movie-inspired linocuts created between 2017 and today.
Alongside the artwork, the zine includes personal anecdotes and insights into his creative process.
Lino CULT Movies is more than just a printed collection – it’s a heartfelt tribute to cinema itself, and especially to those cult movies that have left a mark on popular culture.
Printed using risograph technique, the zine is now available on Enea’s Etsy shop.
