The Cameron Twins return with Love You! (2026), a new limited-edition fine art print and the third release in their ongoing Valentine’s Love Hurts series. Building on the success of two sold-out editions from 2024 and 2025, the new work continues the duo’s distinctive exploration of emotion, nostalgia, and the subtle moments that define personal connection.
Rooted in screen printing, hand-painted mark-making, and the visual language of childhood, Love You! captures the playful yet decisive moment when liking someone tips into something more certain. Drawing on familiar pop-culture symbols: Love Hearts sweets, vintage figures, and toys, the artwork uses sweetness and softness as a gateway to more complex emotional territory.
“We liked the idea of turning a sweet message into something literal, using actual sweets and visual language to say something sincere.”

Nostalgia as Emotional Language
At the heart of Love You! is The Cameron Twins’ ongoing fascination with nostalgia as a tool for discussing adult emotional experience. Their work often feels comforting at first glance, saturated pastel palettes, repetition and childlike motifs create a sense of calm and familiarity. On closer inspection, however, small narrative disruptions emerge.
In Love You!, this shift is signalled by details such as the cracked and discarded I Like You heart. These deliberate imperfections gently interrupt the sweetness, marking a transition from uncertainty to emotional clarity. It’s this tension, between softness and rupture, innocence and intent, that has become a defining feature of the Love Hurts series.

Process, Scale, and Edition Details
The artwork was developed through the artists’ established process, combining hand-pulled screen printing with layered colour, loose hand-painted marks and intentional irregularities. While the final release is a giclée, the piece retains the tactile, human qualities of their studio practice.
Love You! (2026) will be released as a limited-edition fine art giclée print on Hahnemühle Photo Rag, in two formats:
- A3 — Edition of 50
- A2 — Edition of 15 (the first time this Valentine’s series has been offered at this larger scale)
The edition launches on Saturday 17th January at 5pm, via camerontwins.shop, with early access available to mailing list subscribers.
