Sam Thorne is a Plymouth based artist and illustrator, specialising in hand drawn graphics and vector imagery. His most recent body of work sees him designing and printing gig posters in which the bands and locations are fictional representations of key moments of his recent life. He believes gig posters to be a frequently under-appreciated and overlooked art form that we ignore every day in the street, and as a result can think of nowhere safer to hide his darkest fears.
