Marking the tracksuit’s ongoing significance in sport, style and culture, adidas has named Friday 6th November as #adidastracksuitday and they’re inviting everyone to get involved. adidas has collaborated with photographer of the moment Vicky Grout and stylist Hayley McCarthey to create a set of imagery celebrating almost 50 years since the Franz Beckenbauer Tracksuit was released in 1967 — it was the first piece of adidas apparel that would make the brand famous for more than just footwear. Oh… and we hand screen printed their lovely tracksuit boxes!
