Showcased in our 36th issue of our Posterzine publication is the talented London-based lettering artist Ged Palmer. From his shimmering shop window signs to beautiful custom made lettering for business cards and other printed matter, Palmer’s hand-crafted designs have a charm that a computer could never replicate. In an exclusive interview, Ged talks us through his journey as a designer, highlighting his inspirations and why, when it comes to calligraphy, you have to respect the rules.
Not only has Palmer’s work collaborated with Nike, Aesop and many more established clients, it’s also been recognised by the International Society of Typographic Designers, The Type Directors Club and many other publications worldwide.
Once again, we’ve collaborated with MOO on this issue, and on the back, you’ll find a special feature about ‘MOO talks typography’ with Senior Designer Steve Turner responding to Palmer’s work. In addition, a naughty little discount on all MOO products with every purchase of Palmer’s issue.
