US-based designer Sean Tyler was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. His fascination with pencil drawing came about at a young age and continued as he grew up and became one of the reasons that he decided to pursue a career in Art & Design. Some of his projects include Unexpected Rhetoric an infographic poster exhibition of student work from the University of Utah for the 2016 presidential election. Tyler was given Hillary Clinton’s speech from the DNC and illustrated the reaction and involvement of those present at the convention.
Having recently graduated with a fine arts degree with an emphasis in graphic design, Tyler spent a lot of time in The University’s large book arts studio where he fell in love with letterpress, printmaking, typography, publication, and editorial design. After finishing his studies Tyler has been working as an editorial/graphic designer for the newspaper and tends to spend the rest of his time as a freelance designer working in his home studio.
