12 Prints Exhibition and Book Launch :: Print Club London

Print Club London print and publish silk screen prints by some of the UK’s most exciting illustrative talent! This festive season Print Club London are pleased to present their new exhibition “12 Prints”. As always it was an open submission to allow the artists to showcase their own personal style and point of view. The response was amazing. The key to the show they believe, is aligning some really established illustrators, street artists and designers alongside those fresh out of art school creating an equal platform. Their aim is to bring affordable art prints to a wider demographic and encouraging buyers to invest in original artwork.

All prints for the show are signed originals, embossed, in edition of 50 and sold at £45.

Print Club London are also extremely proud to be sponsoring the launch of a new book by long time Print Club member Caspar Williamson, “Reinventing Screenprinting”. Williamson has been producing work and building friendships at Print Club London since 2007. We are celebrating the books release by producing a limited edition book jacket for the first 100 copies sold. Each jacket is hand silk screen printed with a design by illustrator Rose Stallard.

The book jacket is a celebration of all things pivital to screenprinting- great artists and illustrators designing and printing brilliant artwork, as well as the promotion and championing of the scene in the UK. It is a pleasure to have Rose Stallard, Creative Director of Print Club London, lend her talents to the illustrations that adorn this book jacket. Furthermore, projects such as this go to further demonstrate the power and dexterity of print, by combining skills and collaborating with The Henningham Family Press to produce the beautiful foilblocked elements you see here. -Caspar Williamson, 2011.
