3: Known As StudioKnown As Studio’s 2021 colourful A3 wall calendar is Risograph printed in yellow, green, risofederal blue, making the perfect piece for any design-lover. 5: Colophon FoundryColophon Foundry’s 13-tear-sheet (elongated) typographic calendar is silkscreen printed in gloss white on heavyweight black paper, with a nod to calendars by Vignelli, Tovaglia and Mari. It uses a simplistic system to display each month as a numeral with corresponding dates and days. Three punched holes allow the calendar to conveniently be hung on a wall. The calendar utilises modified versions of their typeface Coign in cuts 19 and 47. A great addition to any type-lovers wall!

6: Stendig CalendarsCreated by legendary Italian designer Massimo Vignelli in 1966, the Stendig remains one of the best examples of 1960s modernist design, featuring two of the movement’s most iconic creations; Swiss typeface Helvetica and the Grid. Vignelli’s design is simple, yet bold, printed on 3ft x 4ft sheets of high quality, 160gsm paper, which alternate between black and white backgrounds. The sheets are detachable, designed to be removed with each passing month. Previous months’ sheets can also be sustainably reused as wrapping paper!

17: Marcie Bower & Oli HudsonGraphic Designers Marcie Bower and Oli Hudson have launched a kickstarter to support the production of their 2021 Fingers Crossed calendar. Fingers crossed their month-by-month calendar can bring you luck in 2021; from old wives tales to cultural traditions, they’ve cherry picked 12 ways to get you feeling lucky. All of the illustrations featured have been cut from lino, or printed using letterpress.

18: VinconIn 1975, the Vinçon Store in Barcelona, a reference point for the world of design, edited its own calendar for the first time. The calendar has long since established itself as an icon of design. It was designed by America Sánchez with the clear idea of removing everything that was superfluous and leaving what was essential, in a perfectly ordered way. It has been edited uninterruptedly for 45 years, and today, Octàgon Design produce this iconic piece.
