Brooklyn New York-based Illustrator and graphic artist Amrita Marino presents her latest project, Fiorucci Zine. This risograph printed zine pays homage to Elio Fiorucci , an Italian fashion designer who founded the cult fashion label, Fiorucci, in the late 60s. Marino discovered the label through its recently riotous advertising and disappeared down an internet rabbit hole after that. Inspired by the various motifs used in Fiorucci’s advertising campaigns such as pinup girls, the cherry, LP player, and tigers and flamingos, the zine also references Terry Jones, co-founder of i-D magazine, who was the creative director behind many of Firouccis iconic ads.
