Ned Beauman’s debut novel Boxer Beetle is tantalisingly dark and obscenely clever. The cover alone is enough to persuade anyone in their right mind to purchase it and once you open it, there’s more beautiful design to be admired. Credit to Lorenzo Petrantoni for creating such a stand out cover, the winning entry for last years V&A Book Cover Illustration Award.
