Grady Gordon

Oakland based Artist Grady Gordon’s work features haunting black and white monotype prints in which he depicts characters searching for “Xrays of morality.”

Originally from Santa FE (New Mexico) Grady Gordon grew up alongside a variety of Art Forms including the Native American “Katchina” which feature wood-carvings of various spirits. Inspired by his roots and the Japanese “Yokai” Grady has proceeded to make beautifully frightening artwork. Originally only focusing on portraits Grady’s most recent work features full figure characters amplifying and adding narrative to the ghoulish persona’s of his prints.
