Jasmina Begovic is a graphic designer from Germany. She is studying graphic design at the State Academy of Art and Design Stuggart. Her work is a range between branding, designing posters, type as well as well as making books related to graphic design. The poster on the top is a collaboration with Simon Hassler.
Jasmina also enjoys drawing in her sketchbook which is usually a starting point of inspiration for her projects as well as a side project where she focus on topics that she is interested in. At the moment, she really enjoys drawing type using Posca markers. She keeps the colours limited and likes the fact you can’t erase a line once it’s drawn – working around mistakes and making use of them.
Type is a great way of transporting a feeling or an emotion by just using lines and movement. Working with different medium such as photography or collaborative projects is also important to the designer – making sure that her work is not only computer based. This is why her sketchbook is important to her!
