Joseba Elorza is an electro producer and digital collage artist. Music production and collage go hand in hand as the methodologies behind both practises incorporate the cutting of something into samples and subsequent rearranging to create new melodies.

Collage is a tool to build visual melodies. Based in Spain, Elorza blends humour, technology, science fiction and anonymous historical photographs to build narratives. Elorza’s imagery presents the viewer with a surreal scene that they are not immediately able to understand. He plays this “game” to grab peoples’ attention, curate a sense of curiosity and encourage the viewer to be more receptive to what they see.
