Maria Herreros has produced her first self-edited zine ‘For Ema’ with a design that embodies honest illustrations and charming design. The limited edition zines are little treat, handwritten, sewn and personalised with an illustrated envelope. Maria has followed this with a second publication ‘Free Ride’, which she describes as an intimate journey about losing innocence. Both publications are a small insight into her large body of work that features murals, large scale portraits and graphic novels, all connected with the same hand rendered rawness that is seen in her work.
