A divine exploration into the the geometric line play and architecture of Los Angeles manifests within Sallie Harrison’s ongoing Geometric LA series. Combining her love for colour, typography and all things minimalism, the series evokes a compelling consideration of composition, immersing the viewer within the conceptual landscape, transporting us into the whimsical world in which Harrison creates.

The series showcases the extensive variety of LA’s iconic architecture, from Modernist to Art Deco. The extreme impact of the dominant pastel palette is beautifully emphasised through the juxtaposition of jet black shadow and blinding sunlight, heightening the extreme and unusual beauty of the city.

As well as photography, Sallie Harrison further utilises her talent within design, delving into the worlds of brand identity, pattern, editorial and web design, packaging and print through her multidisciplinary one woman design studio.
