Too Much White Space was founded by now Creative Director Richard Overton. After working for a number of design agencies across London, Overton found himself moving from the larger, more established agencies to smaller independent design studios which ultimately led him to set up Too Much White Space (TMWS London) in 2009. Now as an established studio, TMWS works across a number of disciplines, including Identity & Branding, Advertising, Digital, Exhibitions and events and (their favourite) print.
Like any design based job, a lot of the satisfaction comes from working closely with clients and building strong relationships so that they ultimately become part of their team. But according to Overton, this collaboration doesn’t end with their clients. “Producing a great design is only 50% of the job, getting the final print right is the icing on the cake” says Overton.
One of their key allies is Gavin Martin Colournet, A printing facility now based in Woolwich Docklands. “Having access to such an exceptional and experienced printer”, Overton tells us, “as well as their plethora of print knowledge is a huge bonus to our studio, one that surprising other designers don’t take advantage of.”
