Founded in October of 2010 by George Haydock, Will Berry, Liam Healy and Rich James, Generic Greeting Collective set out to provide a platform to showcase their work and combine illustration, film and music. Since then it’s grown to fifteen members from different disciplines.
Collaboration is key, and with illustrators, designers, film makers, photographers, producers, DJs and VJs from all around the UK, the work is very interested and varied. Each of the artists bring something beautiful to the table with their own distinct style but that also fits perfectly within the aesthetic of the collective.
The illustrators and designers among them have worked with students from Salford University and have had solo work exhibited all over Manchester in venues such as Joshua Brooks, Twenty Twenty Two and the Chinese Centre of Contemporary Art and the first in a series of exhibitions as a collective launches early June in Joshua Brooks.
