Lotta Nieminen

The multi-talented Lotta Nieminen is not only a very successful illustrator but also manages her own design studio in New York, curating design projects for some of the biggest brands around. With her design studio she has created exquisite brand redesigns, and with her illustration success, she has created beautiful packaging design and children’s book illustrations. In 2014 she was voted for Forbes magazine’s annual 30 Under 30 list in the Art and Design category and her portfolio doesn’t fail to show the wonders of her work. What an inspiration.

Studying at the University of Art and Design Helsinki and the Rhode Island School of Design, Lotta has worked as a freelancer in both areas of design since 2006, but also for some pretty impressive names including fashion magazine Trendi to Pentagram Design. It is inspiration to see how she has elegantly combined her graphic design work within branding, and also translated her visual illustration style when it’s best suited for product or packaging design.
