Unlike many other titles, Accent Magazine has set itself a challenge and decided to release its debut print issue after its tremendous success on the internet. Published bi-annually, the print version of Accent is devoted to celebrating inspirational, extraordinary individuals who dare to experience life outside the mainstream and make the world a brighter place simply by being themselves.
The brainchild of two founding editors Lydia Garnett and Lucy Nurnberg. The first print edition of Accent hit the newsstands earlier in March 2016 and features a collection of fascinating stories including ‘the famous faces of 80s punk London, a young vogueing superstar from the House of Labeija in NYC, the street kids of Mexico Citys Alameda Central park and a yuppie-hating bachelor from Philadelphia who spent 30 years as a photographers muse’.
