Hahnemühle at The Photography Show

Celebrating over 440 years of papermaking, Hahnemühle is considered the pioneer of Digital FineArt paper innovation, archival papers for exclusive prints across photography, digital art, and art reproductions. They will be joining forces with The Photography Show at Excel London from the 8th-11th March, where they will be sponsoring the Behind the Lens Stage. Here, they will be bringing an enriching digital fine art print experience to attendees through a series of talks and demonstrations by leading photographers and print experts including celebrity photographer Dr Andy Gotts and Italian travel and landscape photographer Francesco Gola.On Sunday 9th March at 12:35 Hahnemühle will be welcoming Dr Andy Gotts to the Behind the Lens Stage for an engaging talk on Iconography. The talk will reflect on his stunning portraits of celebrities including Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Meryl Streep, and Clint Eastwood.

On Saturday 8th March at 12.35 they will also introduce Gabrielle Motola to the stage for a talk titled From Screen to Print – Mastering Colour grading for Printing. Here, Gabrielle will simplify the journey of transforming your beautifully graded digital images into stunning physical prints. Designed for photographers of all levels, this talk focuses on practical, actionable steps to create gallery-quality results using Canon printers and Hahnemühle paper.Joining the stage on Monday 10th March at 2pm is Italian travel and landscape photographer Francesco Gola. During his talk, Francesco will detail his vision of crafting the perfect long exposure seascape in print on Hahnemühle paper. The final day will see the introduction of Calvin Chinthaka to the stage at 10.20am for his talk Creating your Photography portfolio in print. This session offers valuable insights into selecting and curating images for a compelling portfolio, emphasising the importance of maintaining a live, evolving collection throughout your career.New for The Photography Show 2025 is Meet the Expert. This initiative invites attendees to meet the expert after their stage talks for an informal session where you can talk to them about your work, bring your fine art prints along, and ask questions and advice on Hahnemühle Digital FineArt Papers.

As part of this year’s show attendees can also discover the tactile and haptic nuances of nine Hahnemühle papers through the exhibition of Joel GrimesMalory Blenhiem Palace and Harley Magic beach hotel, which has been printed on various Hahnemühle papers to illustrate the depth and texture differences of the printed image. Joel Grimes is a renowned photographer, Adobe Photoshop Feature artist, and Canon Legend Elite Photographer who will be shooting live portraits at the Photography show on the Adobe stand. Joel’s images will then be printed on Hahnemühle papers following his stage appearance.

The showcase includes Hahnemühle’s latest additions to their Digital FineArt Collection including new sustainable innovations such as Bamboo Gloss Baryta and Sustainable Photo Satin.
